Uddeept started writing stories at a very early age. His stories have appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers. He is a published poet with two books to his name, titled "कच्ची गाँठें" and "अधूरे लम्स". Won “Sahitya Ratna” award from Baitool Sahitya Kala Parishad. Apart from poetry and screenwriting, he is working on another book titled "The Science of Mythology" in which the Vedic hymns are explained scientifically.
worked as a dialogue writer for many TV shows, like Sujata, Grihasthi, and Solah Singar. He wrote more than 800 episodes of Jai Jai Jai Bajrang Bali as research, story, screenplay, and dialogue writer. He did many episodes of shows like Savdhan India and Haunted Nights.
Movies titled "Jab tum kaho" and "Aisi Ki Taisi" were released in 2017, whereas "Ek Haseena thi, Ek Deewana Tha" was released in 2018. An anthology titled "Anjaan: Rural Myths" streamed on Netflix. An edgy thriller, "The Investigation," is streaming on Eros Now and another installment is coming soon. A social satire comedy film titled "Shukradosh" is all set to be released soon.
A social drama Titled Neerja - Ek Nayi Pehchan ran successfully on Colors Hindi.
Developing a Horror Movie for Brownhorse Entertainment UK.
A crime thriller titled "Vimal Khanna" is running successfully on Prime MX Player.

I met Uddeept through our common friend when we were pitching a few concepts to various channels ..Uddeept has some great scripts and the best part is his understanding of the complexities of the characters he writes... their inner struggle and at the same time the characters are real.. one such great example is his The Investigation, and few more scripts which he narrated to me ..I wish I could do all of them ..wishing you all the best Uddeept.. keep rocking
